Our youth tennis lessons are geared to the beginner and intermediate youth player. Summer youth tennis lessons are instructed by Kevin Imbt, GMHS Tennis team Coach. Participants should bring an appropriately sized racquet, lots of water, towel and sneakers. Our lessons lessons are held Mondays-Thurdays; Fridays will be used to make up cancelled lessons due to heavy rain, etc. Lessons are held at the Salmon Brook Park Tennis Courts. Join our dynamic Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program, designed to prepare young leaders for future roles as camp counselors. This program focuses on developing essential skills like leadership, child care, and program management. Under the guidance of our experienced Granby Day Camp staff and Assistant Camp Director, your teen will gain invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and responsibility.CITs will also get to participate in the same fun activities they enjoyed as campers, making the program both educational and enjoyable. Enrollment includes CIT t-shirts. Our program offers a hands-on, immersive training experience that provides teens with a deep understanding of what it takes to be a camp counselor.We seek enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are ready to bring energy and a positive attitude to every aspect of the program.Applicants must be at least 14 years old at the start of their CIT session.To apply, candidates need to complete an application form, submit references, and attend an interview. This summer, CAS Soccer Camps will be running 2 separate weeks of their popular camp! Participants are grouped by age (4-6 years), (7-10 years) or (11-14 years). All levels of ability are welcome! CAS Community Camps focus on creating a fun, learning environment while fostering a love for the game through skills acquisition, conditioned practices and small-sided games. Camp themes are ball mastery (fakes, moves and turns), passing & receiving, dribbling & moving with the ball, shooting & finishing, World Games and tournaments. Each player receives a shirt and ball. For players 4-6 years, shin guards recommended and soccer cleats would be fine, but a safe, appropriate athletic shoe would also be fine. Ages over 6 should wear cleats and shin guards.

9:00 AM - 12:30 PM    Mountain Biking: Summer Youth Mountain Biking Skills Camp: Biking in the Bush (ages 10-15) - Mountain Biking: Summer Youth Mountain Biking Skills Camp: Biking in the Bush: Week 2
Join Coach Wes this summer for an epic mountain biking skills and trail riding adventure camp! Coach Wes has organized several weeks of MTB fun. From trailside repair clinics, jump sessions, and epic outrides to our local forests and ride areas with skills drills and obstacle courses. There will be something to learn and a new place to explore throughout each week. Each week flows into the next, and we progressively learn more as we go. This camp includes professional instruction, in an all inclusive, relaxed and encouraging setting. Coach Wes practices "challenge by choice" and will always be right there to guide and assist all the way. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. "Waiver Required."What to bring: *Bike in good working condition (we do not have time to fix bikes)*Helmet & Gloves (no helmet, no ride)*Flat pedals and shoes/Clips and cleats (we highly recommend learning new skills with flats, but if you are comfortable in clips then that's also ok)*Drinks & Snacks- bring enough as it is a long morning (small backpack recommended)*Bug Spray and Sunscreen*If you have any knee guards, shin guards, elbow guards then you are also welcome to bring them too and use them when you feel the need (I will be wearing knee guards/shin pads)*On Wednesdays, Coach Wes makes a barbecue and grills some hot dogs/burgers- the cost is $10 paid to him. 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM    Pickleball: Summer Adult Programs with Gigs and Kim: Beginner/Intermediate Levels - Pickleball: Summer Adult Program with Kim: Beginner/Intermediate
Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. The rules of the game will be taught to any interested beginners. Advice on skills will be suggested to those who have played, but still learning about the game and technique. Mini tournaments will be set up for the more experienced players. This lifelong activity  is gaining a lot of popularity and fun for all ages! Make up dates for each program: Monday: 8/4; Wednesday: 8/6.

Soccer Shots Mini is designed for 2 year olds and is  a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. All equipment, including soccer balls, are provided during the 4-Week program. Participants should bring water and wear athletic clothing and sneakers. Join Coach Wes this summer for an epic mountain biking skills and trail riding adventure camp! Coach Wes has organized several weeks of MTB fun. From trailside repair clinics, jump sessions, and epic outrides to our local forests and ride areas with skills drills and obstacle courses. There will be something to learn and a new place to explore throughout each week. Each week flows into the next, and we progressively learn more as we go. This camp includes professional instruction, in an all inclusive, relaxed and encouraging setting. Coach Wes practices "challenge by choice" and will always be right there to guide and assist all the way. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. "Waiver Required."What to bring: *Bike in good working condition (we do not have time to fix bikes)*Helmet & Gloves (no helmet, no ride)*Flat pedals and shoes/Clips and cleats (we highly recommend learning new skills with flats, but if you are comfortable in clips then that's also ok)*Drinks & Snacks- bring enough as it is a long morning (small backpack recommended)*Bug Spray and Sunscreen*If you have any knee guards, shin guards, elbow guards then you are also welcome to bring them too and use them when you feel the need (I will be wearing knee guards/shin pads)*On Wednesdays, Coach Wes makes a barbecue and grills some hot dogs/burgers- the cost is $10 paid to him. Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. The rules of the game will be taught to any interested beginners. Advice on skills will be suggested to those who have played, but still learning about the game and technique. Mini tournaments will be set up for the more experienced players. This lifelong activity  is gaining a lot of popularity and fun for all ages! She will rotate the teams and keep the time moving with games. There is no instructional teaching in this program. Gigs will be there to supervise, organize and monitor the games. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. This summer, CAS Soccer Camps will be running 2 separate weeks of their popular camp! Participants are grouped by age (4-6 years), (7-10 years) or (11-14 years). All levels of ability are welcome! CAS Community Camps focus on creating a fun, learning environment while fostering a love for the game through skills acquisition, conditioned practices and small-sided games. Camp themes are ball mastery (fakes, moves and turns), passing & receiving, dribbling & moving with the ball, shooting & finishing, World Games and tournaments. Each player receives a shirt and ball. For players 4-6 years, shin guards recommended and soccer cleats would be fine, but a safe, appropriate athletic shoe would also be fine. Ages over 6 should wear cleats and shin guards.

Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. The rules of the game will be taught to any interested beginners. Advice on skills will be suggested to those who have played, but still learning about the game and technique. This new program is for the serious pickleball players who play at an intermediate to advanced level looking for weekly games with instructor Gigs there to set up and monitor these competitive matches. She will rotate the teams and keep the time moving with games. There is no instructional teaching in this program. Gigs will be there to supervise, organize and monitor the games. Join Coach Wes this summer for an epic mountain biking skills and trail riding adventure camp! Coach Wes has organized several weeks of MTB fun. From trailside repair clinics, jump sessions, and epic outrides to our local forests and ride areas with skills drills and obstacle courses. There will be something to learn and a new place to explore throughout each week. Each week flows into the next, and we progressively learn more as we go. This camp includes professional instruction, in an all inclusive, relaxed and encouraging setting. Coach Wes practices "challenge by choice" and will always be right there to guide and assist all the way. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. "Waiver Required."What to bring: *Bike in good working condition (we do not have time to fix bikes)*Helmet & Gloves (no helmet, no ride)*Flat pedals and shoes/Clips and cleats (we highly recommend learning new skills with flats, but if you are comfortable in clips then that's also ok)*Drinks & Snacks- bring enough as it is a long morning (small backpack recommended)*Bug Spray and Sunscreen*If you have any knee guards, shin guards, elbow guards then you are also welcome to bring them too and use them when you feel the need (I will be wearing knee guards/shin pads)*On Wednesdays, Coach Wes makes a barbecue and grills some hot dogs/burgers- the cost is $10 paid to him. Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. The rules of the game will be taught to any interested beginners. Advice on skills will be suggested to those who have played, but still learning about the game and technique. Mini tournaments will be set up for the more experienced players. This lifelong activity  is gaining a lot of popularity and fun for all ages! Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. The rules of the game will be taught to any interested beginners. Advice on skills will be suggested to those who have played, but still learning about the game and technique. Mini tournaments will be set up for the more experienced players. This lifelong activity  is gaining a lot of popularity and fun for all ages! Under the guidance of our experienced Granby Day Camp staff and Assistant Camp Director, your teen will gain invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and responsibility.CITs will also get to participate in the same fun activities they enjoyed as campers, making the program both educational and enjoyable. Enrollment includes CIT t-shirts. Our program offers a hands-on, immersive training experience that provides teens with a deep understanding of what it takes to be a camp counselor.We seek enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are ready to bring energy and a positive attitude to every aspect of the program.Applicants must be at least 14 years old at the start of their CIT session.To apply, candidates need to complete an application form, submit references, and attend an interview. Join Coach Wes this summer for an epic mountain biking skills and trail riding adventure camp! Coach Wes has organized several weeks of MTB fun. From trailside repair clinics, jump sessions, and epic outrides to our local forests and ride areas with skills drills and obstacle courses. There will be something to learn and a new place to explore throughout each week. Each week flows into the next, and we progressively learn more as we go. This camp includes professional instruction, in an all inclusive, relaxed and encouraging setting. Coach Wes practices "challenge by choice" and will always be right there to guide and assist all the way. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. "Waiver Required."What to bring: *Bike in good working condition (we do not have time to fix bikes)*Helmet & Gloves (no helmet, no ride)*Flat pedals and shoes/Clips and cleats (we highly recommend learning new skills with flats, but if you are comfortable in clips then that's also ok)*Drinks & Snacks- bring enough as it is a long morning (small backpack recommended)*Bug Spray and Sunscreen*If you have any knee guards, shin guards, elbow guards then you are also welcome to bring them too and use them when you feel the need (I will be wearing knee guards/shin pads)*On Wednesdays, Coach Wes makes a barbecue and grills some hot dogs/burgers- the cost is $10 paid to him. The Chris Corkum Baseball Program is geared to emphasize skill development. The children are carefully guided through selected skill activities and drills culminating in team play. Each child’s strengths and weaknesses are evaluated so growth is an on-going process. Lecture and demonstrations by qualified instructors enhance this process to its fullest. Videotaping is used where appropriate. Program includes: individual and small group instruction in fielding, throwing, hitting, pitching, base running, physical conditioning and game strategy, with discussion of rules and regulations.The Friday of each week will be used as a make up date in the event of inclement weather.

Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. The rules of the game will be taught to any interested beginners. Advice on skills will be suggested to those who have played, but still learning about the game and technique. Mini tournaments will be set up for the more experienced players. This lifelong activity  is gaining a lot of popularity and fun for all ages! Join Coach Wes this summer for an epic mountain biking skills and trail riding adventure camp! Coach Wes has organized several weeks of MTB fun. From trailside repair clinics, jump sessions, and epic outrides to our local forests and ride areas with skills drills and obstacle courses. There will be something to learn and a new place to explore throughout each week. Each week flows into the next, and we progressively learn more as we go. This camp includes professional instruction, in an all inclusive, relaxed and encouraging setting. Coach Wes practices "challenge by choice" and will always be right there to guide and assist all the way. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. "Waiver Required."What to bring: *Bike in good working condition (we do not have time to fix bikes)*Helmet & Gloves (no helmet, no ride)*Flat pedals and shoes/Clips and cleats (we highly recommend learning new skills with flats, but if you are comfortable in clips then that's also ok)*Drinks & Snacks- bring enough as it is a long morning (small backpack recommended)*Bug Spray and Sunscreen*If you have any knee guards, shin guards, elbow guards then you are also welcome to bring them too and use them when you feel the need (I will be wearing knee guards/shin pads)*On Wednesdays, Coach Wes makes a barbecue and grills some hot dogs/burgers- the cost is $10 paid to him. This pickleball program is for those who have experience playing pickleball at the advanced intermediate/advanced level.  Join popular instructors Gigs and Kim who will each be running a 6 week session over the summer. Bring your own racquet, and water bottle. Gigs and Kim will provide feedback on skills, rule interpretation, and offer the opportunity to set up competitive matches for the group. This lifelong activity is one of the most popular and fastest growing programs! Make up date for Kim's program will be 8/4 and 8/6 for Gig's.

The Chris Corkum Baseball Program is geared to emphasize skill development. The children are carefully guided through selected skill activities and drills culminating in team play. Each child’s strengths and weaknesses are evaluated so growth is an on-going process. Lecture and demonstrations by qualified instructors enhance this process to its fullest. Videotaping is used where appropriate. Program includes: individual and small group instruction in fielding, throwing, hitting, pitching, base running, physical conditioning and game strategy, with discussion of rules and regulations.The Friday of each week will be used as a make up date in the event of inclement weather.

Join Coach Wes this summer for an epic mountain biking skills and trail riding adventure camp! Coach Wes has organized several weeks of MTB fun. From trailside repair clinics, jump sessions, and epic outrides to our local forests and ride areas with skills drills and obstacle courses. There will be something to learn and a new place to explore throughout each week. Each week flows into the next, and we progressively learn more as we go. This camp includes professional instruction, in an all inclusive, relaxed and encouraging setting. Coach Wes practices "challenge by choice" and will always be right there to guide and assist all the way. Each day is 3 1/2 hours. Participants need to be relatively fit enough to ride approximately 5-10 miles at a slow and relaxed pace with frequent stops over a 3 hour period. Participants need to have pre-arranged transport to and pickup from ride venues. "Waiver Required."What to bring: *Bike in good working condition (we do not have time to fix bikes)*Helmet & Gloves (no helmet, no ride)*Flat pedals and shoes/Clips and cleats (we highly recommend learning new skills with flats, but if you are comfortable in clips then that's also ok)*Drinks & Snacks- bring enough as it is a long morning (small backpack recommended)*Bug Spray and Sunscreen*If you have any knee guards, shin guards, elbow guards then you are also welcome to bring them too and use them when you feel the need (I will be wearing knee guards/shin pads)*On Wednesdays, Coach Wes makes a barbecue and grills some hot dogs/burgers- the cost is $10 paid to him. She will rotate the teams and keep the time moving with games. There is no instructional teaching in this program. Gigs will be there to supervise, organize and monitor the games. The make up date will be 8/7 if needed.

Camp themes are ball mastery (fakes, moves and turns), passing & receiving, dribbling & moving with the ball, shooting & finishing, World Games and tournaments. Each player receives a shirt and ball. For players 4-6 years, shin guards recommended and soccer cleats would be fine, but a safe, appropriate athletic shoe would also be fine. Ages over 6 should wear cleats and shin guards.

Our lessons lessons are held Mondays-Thurdays; Fridays will be used to make up cancelled lessons due to heavy rain, etc. Lessons are held at the Salmon Brook Park Tennis Courts. Under the guidance of our experienced Granby Day Camp staff and Assistant Camp Director, your teen will gain invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and responsibility.CITs will also get to participate in the same fun activities they enjoyed as campers, making the program both educational and enjoyable. Soccer Shots Mini is designed for 2 year olds and is  a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. All equipment, including soccer balls, are provided during the 4-Week program. Participants should bring water and wear athletic clothing and sneakers. Join instructors Nancy Geaglone (Gigs) Granby High School PE teacher and Kim Chamberlain, Enfield Schools PE teacher, for 6 classes of the popular game of pickleball! These classes are for beginners - intermediate levels! Equipment will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own racquet. Please wear sneakers and bring your own water bottle. This pickleball program is for those who have experience playing pickleball at the advanced intermediate/advanced level.  Join popular instructors Gigs and Kim who will each be running a 6 week session over the summer. Bring your own racquet, and water bottle. Gigs and Kim will provide feedback on skills, rule interpretation, and offer the opportunity to set up competitive matches for the group. This lifelong activity is one of the most popular and fastest growing programs! Make up date for Kim's program will be 8/4 and 8/6 for Gig's.
