An awesome summer camp experience!

Our Camp Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program is designed to offer qualified young people an opportunity to prepare for positions such as camp counselors.  Emphasis is placed upon developing leadership skills, sensitivity to children, and program skills.  Granby camp staff, along with our Assistant Camp Director, will provide your young teen with leadership skills and how to work with children.  CITs will build self-confidence and learn how to make decisions - both independently and as a team - and how to manage responsibility for themselves and for others.  CITs get to enjoy the same activities they loved as campers, too.  Fee includes CIT t-shirts.  The Counselor-In-Training program is an intensive, hands-on training experience that gives teen campers valuable insight into the role of a camp counselor.  CITs must be willing to commit the required energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude to all aspects of the training program.  Applicants must be at least 14 years old at the start of their CIT session.

Applicants must complete an application form, submit references and attend an interview.
