After School Wind Ensemble Fall 2026 (Grades 6-8)
NEW PROGRAM: Wind Ensemble is a chance for instrumental students in Grades 6-8 to play in a group that focuses on classic repertoire and moves at a fast pace. Students will learn to read advanced music, how to make adjustments to improve their technique, and how to blend with/contribute to an ensemble. There will be a small concert to showcase what the ensemble has learned; date and location TBD. Students must bring their own instrument, besides percussionists. The instructor for this program is Ms. Tessa Webb who is the Director of GMMS Bands. This class is being held in the GMMS Band Room.
*A $20 material fee to cover the cost to obtain and copy sheet music used in the program, as well as instrument maintenance should be given directly to Ms. Webb at the first class.
