After School Group Voice Fall 2026 (Grades 6-12)
NEW PROGRAM: Group Voice is a chance for students in Grades 6-12 to learn how to use their solo vocal instrument in a group setting. Students will have a chance to receive both individual and large group instruction in a relaxed environment. Students will learn how their voice works, how to make adjustments to improve their own vocal sound, how to read solo voice music, and learn solo vocal pieces from a variety of music genres. Students should have a way to receive digital recordings of practice tracks that they can work with between sessions.
The instructor for this program is Ms. Ruth Rivera who is the Director of GMMS Choirs and Grades 7 & 8 Music Appreciation Teacher. This class is being held in the GMMS Choir Room.
*A $20 material fee to cover the cost to obtain and copy sheet music used in the program should be given to Ms. Rivera at the first class.
