NEW PROGRAM: Learn the art of persuasion! This program is being run by SPARK Business Academy, a widely known academy that offers many youth educational programs focusing on teaching fundamental life skills in business practices. Students work in rotating groups and practice their debating skills in a supportive environment, including developing arguments, issuing rebuttals, providing examples, rebuilding their case and summarizing points of view. Students learn to think on their feet and enhance their public-speaking skills, gaining self-confidence in the process. This program meets after school for 6 weeks on Thursdays for grades 3-5.
