Disc Golf & Ultimate Frisbee Camp at Tower Ridge (Grades 5-9)

Join us at Tower Ridge Disc Golf Course for Disc Golf and Ultimate Frisbee Camp! Campers will learn how to play both disc related sports. The day will be broken up so that time is spent working on fundamental skills for both sports, with plenty of time to put the skills to use during fun games. For disc golf, campers can expect to learn the different types of shots, rules of play, etiquette, and mental aspects to the game. For ultimate, campers will learn the rules of play and different shots to help them enjoy the game. Each camper will receive a disc golf starter set to keep, which comes with three types of discs that will allow them to play a full round of golf. A break will be taken for snack in the morning and lunch. This camp runs Monday through Thursday and Fridays will be reserved for a rain date. This program is being offered in collaboration with the Avon and Simsbury Recreation Departments. Please bring: plenty of water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, bug spray and a lunch.
