Register Now for the Winter Youth Recreational Basketball Program for Kindergarten and First Graders! 
New format this season! Our very own Granby High School Varsity Basketball coach, Wally Hansen, will be running our combined co-ed program. Coach Hansen has over 21 years as a state certified high school coach! Coach Hansen will be teaching the fundamentals of the sport through fun and motivational drills. His goal is to provide a positive recreational basketball experience for all teaching individual skills, fostering teamwork and proper sportsmanlike attitudes and basic rules of the game. Coach Hansen will be striving to establish a foundation of basics for future support of the High School programs and create an opportunity for children to be with their friends and to make new friends.

This program is being held at Kelly Lane School on the following dates: January 4, 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22. A make up date will be held on March 1st if needed. Included in the price is a basketball jersey which will be handed out at the first session. Each child will need to bring their own ball (size 27.5) with their name on it each week.

Registrations received beginning November 2nd will be $175. Registration ends 12/11. Any registrations received after 12/11 will be assessed an additional $25 late fee.*

NOTE: White-soled indoor gym sneakers are mandatory; jewellery of any kind is not allowed, including newly pierced earrings.

Volunteer Coaches:Parent volunteers are welcome to assist Coach Hansen. Please contact Terri Ziemnicki at Granby Recreation if you are interested.
