Does your child have an interest in learning to play the guitar? Do they have a guitar but don't know where to begin? This 8-week class can help get your child to start their guitar journey. Let's learn the FUN-damentals! Jammin Jim will teach you how to tune a guitar, the names of the strings and how notes are laid out, how to hold a pick, how to strum and finger notes, easy songs, the history of the guitar, the different types of guitars and basic music theory. Requirements: An acoustic guitar, a clip-on guitar tuner and most importantly, a good attitude and willingness to Rock!! This is for students in grades 3-5. Class max is 8 students. No class on Oct 22.
