Have fun and learn some basic cooking/baking life skills. We will be creating different treats each week while learning together. Our young chefs will learn the necessary skills needed for cooking. We will focus on safety in the kitchen, reading, following simple recipes, measuring ingredients, familiarization with kitchen equipment and tools while creating tasty treats. The lesson plan includes: providing a recipe for the day, reading and following the recipe, identifying the appropriate ingredients, kitchen equipment and tools needed, prepare the recipe including ingredients, measuring, timing, baking, cooking and then enjoying your new treat! This program is for 4-7 year olds. Come share instructor Bonny Hollis' passion for cooking! Parents do not stay for the class. There is an $8 fee per session for materials to be given to the instructor at the first class.
