MAD Science @ Kelly Lane & Wells Road Schools (Fall 2023):
Theme: CRAZY CHEMWORKS ~ We'll learn about the tools scientists use in their laboratories, as well as atoms, molecules and reactions, acids and bases, fluorescence and phosphorescene. We'll also examine and investigate super sticky things by exploring suction, hydrogen bonding and static cling. We'll also see some very cool dry ice demonstrations! Continue the science at home with fun labware take-homes and experiments. Kelly Lane meets on Wednesdays & Wells Rd meets on Thursdays.

MAD Science @ Kelly Lane & Wells Road Schools (Winter 2023/24):
Theme:Winter EUREKA! Invention~
Children overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most importantly, their minds. With a bit of ingenuity, they create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
