Meet your comedians:
Opener: Troy Moore
Troy began his stand-up comedy career in 2011 while attending Rowan University. Since then, he has frequently performed at clubs and venues in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York areas. He has worked with well-known comics Gilbert Gottfried and Mark Normand and has toured as the opening act for Jay Black at a variety of clubs and colleges on the East Coast. He is currently featured on NJ 101.5’s “Speaking Comedy” Podcast. His material includes jokes about his girlfriend, family, and previous job struggles, all of which give him plenty to talk about.
Headliner: Jose Sarduy
Gathering material from a wealth of life experiences, Jose takes audiences on the rollercoaster ride that’s been his life. Born in Cuba and deported because his father was a political prisoner, he came to the U.S. at a young age. He was accepted to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, became an officer, an accomplished aviator, and is a veteran of Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
His comedy career started out in New York and Philadelphia, getting on stage anytime he could. He performs all over the world now and is an audience favorite for his ability to make deportation, and life-threatening moments hysterical.
He’s been seen on CNN, CBS, Fox, and Lifetime’s “Coming Home.” He was the co-host of NUVO TV’s “Stand Up and Deliver” which aired three seasons, and he appeared on Fox TV’s “Laughs” in 2015-16 in two seasons as both a performer and host
